A while ago I went to Rock White (which is located in the Redbank-Goodna area, but is associated as part of the Ipswich region) with some mates for the first time, it is amazing, I just love bushwalking! There’s something about the bush which is calming and peaceful, and all the troubles and the worries that is happening within my life just get swept away in the beauty of the landscape. It’s nice to just look at all of God’s beauty and be reminded about how amazing he truly is.
Although I think the Rock should be called ‘Cat Rock’, because as you will see in my photos, from the angle I was looking at, it really looks like a Cat face! or a persons face on the other angle. But it’s called ‘White Rock’ from its indigenous heritage.
We took the ‘Little White Rock’ Trail to get there, which is an easy walk, all flat paths except for the stairs which you need to climb up to get the picnic area which is at the base of the Rock face, that part is a bit exhausting.
- The side of the rock, don’t you think it looks like a cat face? how exact!
- Kinda looks like an egyptian head.
- The picinic area at the base of the Rock face
- The sky
- Looking up the cliffe face
- The climb
- I don’t know if this is just some grafitti mark, or indigenous.
- The sunset
- Trying out a different setting on the camera, rminds me of something pre-historic
- Some algae like stuff on the rock
- More sunsets
- Close-up on a boulder on the rock
